Joshua Anderson, MS, PA-C, DFAAPA

Physician Associate · Internal Medicine

Joshua Anderson is a board-certified Physician Associate with over 14 years of experience in internal medicine. He has been with Crossroads Integrative Medicine since 2012, where he serves as a Physician Associate. His practice uniquely integrates evidence-based conventional medicine with complementary and alternative approaches — including nutrition, herbalism, and lifestyle medicine— to deliver whole-person care.

In 2025, Joshua was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Fellow of the AAPA (DFAAPA) designation, one of the highest honors in the physician associate profession. In 2025, Dr. Warren Ross and Joshua Anderson were honored to receive the MdAPA PA-Physician Team Award.

Academic Teaching

Joshua is passionate about training the next generation of clinicians. He has served as faculty and clinical preceptor at multiple institutions including GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore PA Program, Towson/CCBC Essex, and Anne Arundel Community College/UMB. He is a frequent guest lecturer on integrative medicine in primary care.

Beyond the clinic

Outside of medicine, Joshua is an accomplished musician — playing violin in multiple bands.
